The Smith College Museum of Art entrance on Elm Street on a bright morning. A modernist red-brick building with a low horizontal-louvered wing on the left, a glass-walled stairwell in the center, and a taller brick pavilion on the right carrying a large vertical banner of an orange-and-yellow painted figure; the 'SMITH COLLEGE MUSEUM OF ART' wordmark runs above the glass doors, a small exhibition poster for 'The Eye Is a Door' hangs on the wing wall, and leafy tree branches frame the edges under a clear sky.
