An aerial view of the Deerfield River at Shelburne Falls in mid-October, looking south across the village — the river running across the foreground over the bedrock-and-cobble bed of the falls, the steel Iron Bridge carrying Bridge Street over it on the right, the planted Bridge of Flowers running parallel just upstream on the left, the West End Pub building and outdoor deck at the foot of the Iron Bridge on the near (Buckland) bank, and the dense hilltown forest of the Deerfield valley in late-fall color rising on both sides of the river.

West End Pub sat at the west end of the Iron Bridge in Shelburne Falls village, on the Buckland side of the river, directly across from the Bridge of Flowers. The former pub occupies a converted commercial building with a small interior bar and an enclosed riverside deck over the Deerfield River.

The restaurant is now closed. Its longtime owners retired, sold the property in late 2025, and posted that a new venture is expected in the space. Until that opens, treat this as a former landmark location rather than an active food stop.

Visiting

The building is still easy to spot at 16 State Street beside the Iron Bridge and Bridge of Flowers, but there is no operating restaurant to plan around as of the latest check. Street parking in Shelburne Falls fills up on summer weekends.
